Dr. Emily E. Zulauf, DPM, AACFAS is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in advanced foot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Zulauf believes in coordinated care and working across specialties as a team to help patients of all ages reach their healthcare goals.

As an undergraduate student, Dr. Zulauf was a NCAA Division I Collegiate Athlete in the Big Ten Conference. She ultimately sustained a career-ending foot injury which led her to pursue medicine of the lower extremity. After four years of podiatric medical school, Dr. Zulauf completed a three-year surgical residency program, training specifically in foot and ankle trauma and reconstructive surgery. Following residency, Dr. Zulauf completed a 12-month surgical fellowship at Alexander Orthopaedic Associates in the Tampa Bay area which provided exposure to innovative surgical techniques and advanced training in 3D implants, reconstruction, and total ankle replacements. Dr. Zulauf has been fortunate work with and train under MD/DO orthopedic surgeons and podiatric surgeons across the country. She believes in combining the best techniques with evidence-based medicine to provide her patients with exceptional care.

Over the past several years Dr. Zulauf has completed advanced training in arthroscopy, total ankle replacement systems, and minimally invasive surgery (MIS) techniques. She continues to dedicate time to attending hands-on continuing education courses and conferences on a regular basis. Dr. Zulauf is a published co-author and speaker on a variety of foot and ankle topics and has received awards for academic, clinical, and surgical excellence.

Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Zulauf enjoys staying active, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
